www.intellitools.com – Download activities that have been created and adapted to meet the needs of lower level children.  This will allow for those lower level students to complete work that is age appropriate but on their cognitive level.
             
www.pocketmod.com-  Download the free PDF to Pocketmod converter.  Create and 8 page layout and save it as a PDF file.  The converter will automatically transfer the 8 pages to each of the 8 panels on the pocket mod.  Be sure to make the font large as it will shrink it to fit in 1/8th of a page.  Folding instructions are also located on the web site in written or video form.

www.myzips.com- Download the free talking on-screen calculator.  It speaks to the user after an operation or equals sign is selected.

www.coolmath4kids.com – Within this web site are many links to help struggling math students with learning the basics of math.  Included are calculators, alternative methods for calculation, games, printable flashcards, practice problems, a teacher parent reference site, and even a math dictionary. 

www.abcteach.com – This web site has materials from every grade level and subject area.  There are links to everything from thematic units, to clip art to teacher extras.  

www.enchantedlearning -This is the website for all.  There are thousands of links from this sight covering every topic imaginable.  Examples:  printable books, flags, maps, inventors and inventions, even music

www.iloveschools.com –Register with this website and have school supplies donated to your classroom or school.  Just enter the supplies you need and they find a donor to match your request.

www.tuxpaint.org -a free, award-winning drawing program for children ages 3 to 12 (for example, preschool and K-6 in the US, key stages 1 & 2 in the UK). It combines an easy-to-use interface, fun sound effects, and an encouraging cartoon mascot who guides children as they use the program. Kids are presented with a blank canvas and a variety of drawing tools to help them be creative.
www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/digitalphotography/photostory/default.mspx -This is a program offered through microsoft.  It is a lot like moviemake but simpler.  It is basically an animated powerpoint.

Chicago Public Schools had instituted a structured mathematics curriculum with daily lesson plans for every grade K - 12. Look at your grade level to see if there are suggested activities you wish to adapt for your own classroom.

  45. Pi through the Ages includes an interesting mnemonic for the decimal expansion of pi. Each successive digit is the number of letters in the corresponding word. With this mnemonic you can remember pi to 3.14159265358979323846264... If you are interested in a bit of whimsy, check out a couple of pi carols to sing on pi day, March 14.
  46. Prime Numbers - This site has a prime number generator and a prime number checker.
