Kurzweil Overview/Open Lab

Kurzweil 3000 can be integrated into every aspect of the curriculum. Textbooks, trade books, even webpages can be imported and manipulated to give students access to parts of the curriculum that otherwise may not be available. The first part of this session will give you an overview of what great things this program can do to help your students followed by time to work independently on the program or adapt materials for your students with special needs. Intellitools and Flat Friends

Come and learn the basics of Intellitools. The focus will be to showcase templates and activities from Classroom Suite that are accessible to all users.

Beginning Boardmaker

Animating PhotoStory 3/Open Lab

The first half of this session will be spent exploring the animation features of PowerPoint to create e-books for use with students with special needs followed by time to adapt materials to use in your classroom. (Hands-on Lab)

Beginning Boardmaker/Open Lab

The session will brief you in the very basics of the Boardmaker program. Implementation ideas and alternate uses of the boards will be discussed. Time at the end of the session will be given to create/adapt materials for use in your classroom. (Hands-on Lab)
